Undergraduate Student
Focus Area:
Extracellular vesicle differentiation using tunable resistive pulse sensing
Research Interest:
Jessica is developing an optimized methodology for obtaining accurate and repeatable data studying with biological samples using tunable resistive pulse sending (TRPS). Using this methodology she will be able to study extracellular vesicles released by cells under different mechanical or chemical stimuli that simulate different pathological conditions in vitro. Being able to differentiate extracellular vesicles using this methodology will allow a further understanding of their role in mediating disease.
Expected Graduation:
Spring 2020
Fun Fact:
Jessica works part-time as a dance instructor in her life-long studio.
