Focus Area:
Investigation of the effect of the different types of mechanical stretches on the release of EVs from vascular smooth muscle cells.

Research Interest:
Current study involves applying different types of mechanical stretches on vascular smooth muscle cells. Using this, we will be observing how different drugs affect actin filament polymerization and extracellular vesicle trafficking. This research will hopefully assist in general knowledge of vascular calcification mechanisms and future drug development.

Expected Graduation:
Summer 2022
