Role of neuronal innervation in healthy and diseased aortic valve leaflets and mechanisms causing changes in the phenotype of valve interstitial cells implementing neuronal markers.
Research Interest:
Identifying key biological components to manipulate the mechanical responses of the heart with respect to aortic valve disease conditions.

2015 – B.S. in Biological Sciences from Florida International University
